Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which marked the initial significant achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he earlier was, and would certainly consider extending his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
